DO THE EYES LIE? NEW TECHNOLOGY SAYS 'YES'


HOUSTON (KTRK) - A PC program that can tell if a man is lying just by following eye development, may seem like sci-fi. In any case, an organization is pitching the innovation to Houston territory law authorization and organizations. 

It's called EyeDetect and it was produced by Converus. EyeDetect breaks down eye conduct to tell if a man is lying. The organization guarantees their item is less complex to use than conventional polygraphs and requires less aptitude. 

"The eyes are the window to the spirit and science has demonstrated that is valid," said EyeDetect representative, Neal Harris. 

Amid exhibits Friday, Harris utilized EyeDetect to effectively decide group of onlookers members' haphazardly picked numbers. 

Their reactions, alongside pupillary changes and eye developments were measured. Basically, when you lie, the span of your students change and a little camera measures those progressions. A calculation then predicts if clients are being misleading. 

The test takes around 30 minutes sitting before a tablet. The organization claims it is 85 percent precise. 

"You would realize that we are lying if we somehow managed to claim it were 100 percent exact," said Harris. 

EyeDetect costs about $4000 for the hardware, in addition to authorizing expenses for the product.
